Sherwood Park Youth Flag Football is adding another season! We are now offering recreational NFL Flag for kids aged 6-15 years old in the FALL in addition to our already established Spring League. 

Have fun and have a blast while playing like the pros! This division is geared towards all athletes - whether you are new to the game or looking to master your already established skills - this is the place for you.  While the official schedule has not been released, the first game will be held on September 12, 2026. The recreation division will be comprised of 8 games over 4 weeks. We will feature double headers each weekend so that the season can conclude by October 4 , 2026. Location TBD.

Practices are all team dependant and to be set by your team's coach. Coaches will be instructed to reach out to the families on the team to get feedback on the best night for each family but the decision will ultimately be up to the coach as to where/when practice will be held. The league recommends no more than 2 practices per week leading up to the first game of the season and 1 practice per week during the season.  When you register, you will be asked to select which school your child goes to. This is how the teams are determined. SPYFFL will try to group neighborhood kids together so that you may have a friend or two on your team and your practice area will be close to where you live. SPYFFL will not accomodate friends requests or requests to switch teams after rosters have been released.
